Modern life has quietly separated many of us from the experiences human beings need in order to be resilient: purpose, competence, physical challenge, community, mentorship, and opportunities to contribute. The result is a world where people often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, and uncertain—not because they are weak, but because life has become increasingly complex.
Our programs are designed to help people reverse some of that and build their own resilience by reconnecting with themselves and with others. Some experiences are physically demanding. Some are intellectually challenging. Some encourage quiet reflection. Others simply provide an opportunity to laugh around a campfire with other people who understand what it means to keep showing up.
Every experience has the same goal:
To help you leave more capable, more confident, and more connected than when you arrived.
Whether you’re a veteran adjusting to civilian life, a first responder carrying a burden the world can’t see, a healthcare professional facing burnout, an overwhelmed adult with ADHD looking for structure, or simply someone searching for greater confidence, purpose, or connection, you’ll find a place here.

Start here and explore the extraordinary value of ordinary knowledge, or stuff you feel like you should have learned somewhere.
This foundational program, offered via a hybrid model, is the only required element for all members, and is also available a la carte for anyone who’d like to see what the Center is all about.

A weekly opportunity to connect with other interesting people over coffee or tea. Conversations might lead themselves spontaneously, or might be kicked off with a prompt if need be.
We’ll bet you leave each session with knowledge or a perspective you didn’t have when you woke up that day.

A practical resilience program that uses the golf course as the training environment for developing focus, emotional control, confidence, adaptability, and performance under pressure.
All crucial skills for the game, but valuable far beyond the 18th green.

We help rural law enforcement officers develop specialized skills, tactical training, and knowledge that is often not available to smaller agencies due to cost and staffing constraints. We provide this trainining at no cost to the agency.

Participants embark on a 5k ruck march carrying a pack that weighs 1/4 of their body weight. Everybody finishes.
This event is the primary support for the Rural Officer Readiness Program.

Our other major annual fundraiser features a golf tournament with a twist: Instead of using a driver, participants tee off with a custom AR-15 golf ball launcher.

Our signature initiative is built around a suite of Learning Sessions and Resilience Labs, led by subject matter expert Facilitators, each encouraging growth in one of the six domains of resilience. Choose one of our specialized evidence-based tracks, or create your own.
We all have something to learn.
We all have something to teach.

Confidence begins with competence.
Life is less intimidating when you know how to solve problems. Members develop practical knowledge and real-world skills that increase independence, reduce anxiety, and build confidence through repeated success.

A stronger body supports a stronger mind.
Physical challenge teaches us that we are capable of more than we believed. Members build fitness, endurance, coordination, and confidence through activities that emphasize progress rather than competition.

Learning to care for ourselves, others, and the world around us.
Modern convenience has disconnected many of us from the satisfaction of creating, repairing, growing, and providing. These programs reconnect members with practical self-sufficiency and responsible stewardship.

Calm is a skill.
Whether responding to an emergency, leading a team, or navigating life’s unexpected challenges, members learn to think clearly, regulate emotions, and make sound decisions under stress.

Resilience grows in community.
Members learn alongside one another, mentor one another, and discover that serving others often strengthens ourselves.

A meaningful life is built—not found.
True resilience isn’t just surviving difficult seasons. It’s discovering purpose, belonging, curiosity, and opportunities to contribute throughout every stage of life.
A revolutionary idea currently in development and clinical-ish trials phase. More info to come.
